What these terms cover. These are the terms and conditions (these Terms) on which we supply products to you when you place an order on this Tavo website (the Website; https://tavopets.com/sg) (an Order).
Why you should read them. Please read these Terms carefully before you submit your Order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide products to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not submit any Orders to us.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
1.1 Who we are
We are Jani International Pte. Ltd. Jani International Pte. Ltd. , a company registered in Singapore with the company number 202246105R. Our registered office address 5008 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 #06-04/06 Techplace II Singapore 569874. We are the authorised distributor of Tavo Pet products in Singapore.

1.3 How we will contact you
If we have to contact you, we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or the postal address you provided to us in your Order.
2. Our contract with you
2.1 How we accept your Order
Our acceptance of your Order will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.
2.2 If we cannot accept your Order
If we are unable to accept your Order, we will inform you of this in writing and will not charge you for the Order you have placed. This might be because the product is out of stock, because of unexpected limits on our resources which we could not reasonably plan for, or because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product.
2.3 If we can only accept part of your Order
If you order multiple products as part of an Order, and we anticipate that we will be unable to fulfil part of the Order (such as because a certain product in your Order is out of stock), we will contact you to confirm if you wish to purchase the remaining products in your Order.
2.4 Your order number
We will assign an order number to your Order and we will tell you what it is when we accept your Order. Please keep your order number to hand as it will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your Order.
2.5 We only sell to Singapore
The Website is solely for the promotion of our products in Singapore and we are only able to deliver to Singapore addresses. If you wish to have your Order delivered to an address outside of Singapore, you will need to arrange for collection/onward delivery from the Singapore address you have supplied to us.
3. Our products
3.1 Products may vary slightly from their pictures
The images of the products on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that an electronic device's display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. Your product may vary slightly from those images.
3.2 Product packaging may vary
The packaging of products may vary from that shown in images on the Website.
3.3 Your rights to make changes
If you wish to make a change to your Order after we have accepted your Order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will let you know if the change is possible. If it is possible, we will let you know about any changes to the price of the product, the timing of delivery or anything else which would be necessary as a result of your requested change and ask you to confirm whether you wish to go ahead with the change.
3.4 Our rights to make changes
We may change a product within an Order to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements (for example due to a change in the laws relating to product safety in Singapore).
3.5 Where to find the price for the product
The price of the product (which includes GST) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you place your Order.
3.6 What happens if we get the price wrong
We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the product advised to you is correct. It is always possible that, despite this care, some of the products we sell may be incorrectly priced. We will normally check prices before accepting your Order so that, where the product’s correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. If the product’s correct price at your order date is higher than the price stated to you, we will contact you for your instructions before we accept your Order.
4. Providing the products
4.1 Delivery costs
Your Order will be delivered free of charge.
4.2 When we will provide the products
We will deliver the products to you as soon as reasonably possible. Delivery is usually made within 1-3 working days and will be in any event within 7 days after the day on which we accept your Order. Please note we are not responsible for delays outside our control. All Orders are fulfilled in-house, and we will contact you with the details once it has been dispatched. We currently do not dispatch items at weekends/Public Holidays.
4.3 We are not responsible for delays outside our control
If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received.
4.4 Do I have to be at home to receive my Order?
Yes. Due to the nature and price(s) of your Order, we require that someone is home to receive your Order. Alternatively, you can request that your Order is left in a safe place. You can do this by either:
- Entering a safe location into the delivery instructions when placing your Order; or
- Calling us at 6336 8311 one working day before delivery, instructing us where to place your Order.
Please note that if you request for your Order to be left unattended, you do so at your own risk. Your Order will not be insured against theft or damage.
4.5 If you are not at home when the products are delivered
If you are out when the courier attempts to deliver and you have not left instructions for your Order to be left in a safe place, the courier will leave it at your doorstep and share this image as proof of delivery.
4.6 When you become responsible for the products
The products within an Order will be your responsibility from the time we delivered the Order to the address you gave us.
4.7 When you own the products
You will own the products within an Order once we have received payment in full for the Order.
Your right to cancel your purchase
4.8 Your right to change your mind
You have the legal right to change your mind and cancel an Order within 7 days after receiving the products from us (or when receiving the final products from us in the case of an Order delivered in multiple deliveries). Please contact us using the contact details above to notify us if you wish to change your mind. We only accept returns if the items in your Order was unopened and unused.
4.9 Returning the products
Please include your proof of purchase. Once we have confirmed the cancellation, you will have 7 days to return the products to us. Please drop your Order off at our warehouse located at 5008 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 #06-04/06 Techplace II Singapore 569874 within our operating hours from Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6.30pm, except Public Holidays. Please contact us if you have any questions in relation to returning the products to us following the cancellation of your purchase.
4.10 Condition of the returned products
The returned products must be in an unused, unopened condition and within the original packaging. All products must be returned undamaged and properly packaged. Should there be any issue with the returned products or validity, we will contact you directly.
4.11 Refunding your purchase
We will refund you the price you paid for the products by the method you used for payment. The refund will be made as soon as practicable and at the latest within 14 working days when we receive the products back.
5. If there is a problem with your Order
5.1 If there is a problem with a product or if the product is faulty
Please contact us using the contact details above to notify us if you have any questions or complaints about a product we have supplied to you as part of an Order.
5.2 Tavo Warranty
All Orders come with our product warranty (Tavo Warranty), which is 2 years from the original date of purchase as shown on your sales receipt or invoice or as otherwise specified by us. Please see more information on how products may be returned, repaired or replaced under Tavo Warranty.
5.3 No liability for business losses
We are not liable for business losses. We only supply the products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purposes, we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
6. How we may use your personal information
6.1 We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Notice.
7. Provision of the Website
7.1 Website available for your personal use
The Website is provided for your non-commercial, personal use only and must not be used for business purposes. You will be able to obtain information about certain products via the Website and you can also submit queries to us to receive more information about our products.
7.2 Updates to these Terms
We provide the Website to you on the basis of these Terms. These Terms may be updated by us from time to time by posting the updated Terms on the Website without prior notification to you. When you access the Website at any time in the future, such updated Terms then in force shall apply. You should check these Terms for updates each time you access the Website.
7.3 Registering an account on the Website
You can purchase products via the Website by selecting items and proceeding to the check-out. If you have not already registered an account at the Website, you can choose to register an account when completing your purchase. If you register for an account on the Website, please ensure you keep your account password secure and confidential.
7.4 Cancelling an account registration
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an account registration at any time. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Website through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and that they comply with them.
8. Website disclaimer and use
8.1 Provision of the Website
The Website is provided to you at no extra charge. We do not guarantee that the Website will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or restrict of availability of all or any part of the Website for business or operational reasons. Any support provided to you through the Website is for information purposes only. We reserve the right to make changes to the Website at any time, or not reply to any queries, or not provide support in connection with the Website for any reason. Please note this clause 8.1 relates to your use of the Website and does not affect any legal rights you may have in respect of products purchased through the Website.
8.2 Material on the Website
All material on the Website is the property of Jani International Pte. Ltd. and/or its suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You are authorised to view and download the materials for your personal, non-commercial use only.
8.3 Accessing the Website
We reserve the right to at any time prevent you from using the Website or to prevent you from making any purchases through the Website.
9. Other important terms
9.1 Nobody else has any rights under this contract
This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
9.2 If a court finds part of this contract illegal, the rest will continue in force
Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
9.3 Our enforcement of the contract
Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking this contract, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.
9.4 Which laws apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings
These terms are governed by Singaporean law, and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the Singaporean courts.
